OUR REVIEW

Hidden in the quiet streets of Sissi village, a modern hotel where each suite has a unique colour theme. The pool and restaurant/bar/cafe provide a pleasing place to relax, swim, sip a drink and enjoy the company of your family and friends. The chic place to stay in Sisi with a brush stroke of boutique flair and style.

Unique modern architecture, tasteful design - the colour theme in each room or suite is different - with advanced facilities (WiFi, flat screen TVs, DVD players).
There is something of a luxury campus look with the steel walkways and dramatic bridges across blue pools. Yet this is softened inside where rooms have deluxe bed covers and silken lampshades. New high quality bathroom decor and fittings.
The lobby, bar and pool area has a small modern cozy hotel feel - marble and cool, calm yet friendly feel.

Sisi is a known and "discovered" place, sometimes the seafront tavernas seem brash, but they are friendly economical and varied. Several cafes offer a moment for reflection and refreshment - the place is bustling (in mid summer) but on a small and palatable scale. Advantages of being quite near the airport (about 25 minutes by car) and Heraklion city (30 minutes) include short journeys to start your relaxed holiday, easy access to the Archaeological Museum, the new Natural History Museum (on the waterfront of Heraklion), Knossos archaeological site and the shops, cafes and restaurants of the city.

You can spend the whole day here at Angela Suites, eat and drink, swim and read, chat and snooze...or wander down to Bufos beach (where there is a large cafe) and take a swim in the Mediterranean sea.

The centre of the village and the seafront where the tavernas await is a 5-7 minute walk.

Do note that the hotel does not have grand views as there are buildings to look across before the eye meets the sea, its advantage is the quality of rooms, facilities and all the hotel's public areas.
