DISTANCES
We were very pleased with our stay at the Casa Delfino in Chania, Crete.
The room you recommended (2 bedroom/2 bath apt), was beautiful and very spacious. We loved the location of the hotel too, and the service was terrific.
We will definitely return to Crete, as we have visited the island many times before, and it is our favorite.
Thanks for your help.
Sincerely, Stephanie Djinis Just to let you know, my friends and I had a marvellous time in Chania. And Casa Delfino was a gorgeous place to stay, we are all planning to go back there with our partners we loved it so much, So thank you for all your help Jane Maxwell Overall, we had a fantastic trip. Your office made the reservation process very easy and the staff helped with all our questions and requests in a timely manner. Our hotel was also perfect! We enjoyed the location and the tremendous hospitality. Thanks again for all your work and we will definitely consider returning to Crete in the near future. Steven Barrett We found the accommodation at Casa Delfino absolutely excellent and would have no hesitation in staying there again. The suite certainly lived up to expectations; the location was ideal and the breakfast also very good. The staff there were also extremely helpful in providing information and booking local trips and especially when we ran into problems at the end of our stay due to a petrol strike. Jo Pearson The hotel was delightful, the apartments fascinating and well thought out and the breakfasts a real treat. The beds however were so very hard and lumpy that we felt for the cost of the apartment the beds should have been more comfortable really. It was also hard to sleep as unfortunately we didn't realise that having a sea view would be a very noisy 'boom. boom' till 3am experience. Christina Machan Accomodations were acceptable, breakfast was fantastic. The attitudes of the desk staff that we encountered during our stay were not acceptable. Desk staff was rather unhelpful, and when asked a question, we felt that we were really putting them out by asking something of them. Reinette Siwa Casa DelFino: This is a 4.75 out of 5.0. It certainly lives up to its reputation as a first-class hotel. The staff and hospitality is first class in every respect. The location, at the heart of the old city, is superb. For those looking to splurge this is well worth the money, keeping in mind we were there in October. The one issue is finding the hotel when you first arrive. Crete travel directions where accurate and your advice on parking was precise. George Fotiades The room at CASA DELFINO SUITES was a disappointment. Although the building exterior and especially the courtyard are beautiful, the conversion of the building into a hotel was not well thought out. The "suite" was only one room with an added loft. It had only one window and was dark. The toilet was cramped and dark and the shower was so small that you could not stand in it without the curtain hanging on your body. What was the worst, was the air conditioning. The unit was on the lower lever, below the stairs. Since hot air raises and cold air remains low, the loft, where we slept, was very hot. Dan Wilen It was a wonderful trip overall. The scenery was fantastic. We needed more time, actually, so maybe we can return sometime and see more of the country. Sandy loved the Casa Delfino and the penthouse suite. Copyright CreteTravel.com - protected The Chania Old Town is a fun and unusual place. Driving from Heraklion to Chania (and back) was a beautiful drive. It was also rather challenging figuring out the turns. The different spellings were confusing; for example some signs say Hania, some Chania, some Xania. We had to stop a few times for directions. We felt well taken care of by everyone and the people we met were very friendly. The first thing you need to do when you get there is get some Euros. Nobody wants dollars. Thank you so much for all of your help. I don't think we could have made this trip without you. DennisDennis Hagerman My wife and myself really enjoyed the stay at Chania and especially the Casa Delfino was a great experience. Not only the rooms but also the familiar atmosphere was impressing.
