OUR REVIEW

Lefkoritis is the only mountain retreat of its kind in Crete - may there be more! Built out of hewn stone and is a hotel, restaurant and riding lodge combined - standing in a prime view position looking across the Askifou Plateau.

Set in the White Mountains on the road from the North coast to the areas of the south where St.Paul was rumoured to have found safe harbour (Sfakia, Loutro...), the atmosphere provided is unique to mountain resorts - in Crete it is unique to Lefkoritis.

The apartments are either one or two bedroom, the larger ones having a stone fireplace. 

All have commanding views and are furnished in a traditional style. The living areas are comfortable and bathrooms are marble. 

Fine local meals are served in the popular restaurant/taverna. A selection of game is available on the menu.

Whether you visit the stables below and go horseback riding, or just to breath the mountain air and relax in style...you will receive a friendly, casual, warm-hearted welcome.

APARTMENTS 

One-bedroom apartments on the elevated ground floor, bedroom with twin beds, living room, television, mini-bar, 1 bathroom with shower. For up to 2 adults & 1 child (child sleeps on living room sofa-bed).

Two-bedroom apartments on the first floor, 1 double bedroom & 1 twin bedroom, living room, television, mini-bar, fireplace and 1 bathroom with bathtub. One of the two-bedroom apartments is a stand-alone chalet. For up to 4 adults & 1 child (child sleeps on living room sofa-bed).

All rooms have a magnificent view.

FACILITIES 
Central area with restaurant, bar and a retail store with a range of hiking, hunting, shooting accessories and souvenirs.
Billiard & Recreation Room and Coffee Bar.
A large outdoor swimming pool has been added (as of 2010), for the summer months. Open May to October, heated early & late season. With children's area and jacuzzi jets.

ACTIVITIES 
Lefkoritis is the ideal base for a range of activities like horseback riding (stable with 30 horses available), skeet/sport shooting (at the Lefkoritis private Shooting Range), walking, hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, hunting.
All outdoor sports are catered for on request.

Hunting season in Crete is 15 August to 15 March.

Vrysses (Main north coastal road) - 19 km.
Chania - 53 km, Rethymno - 48 km.
