OUR REVIEW

There is nothing more enjoyable than staying in a truly exceptional and tasteful hotel which has a rare calm and quality - and yet be in the heart of a special city. Twenty steps from Chania's splendid Venetian harbour, Casa Delfino is an elegant 17th century Venetian mansion, carefully and attractively restored as an exclusive hotel of just 21 suites. A secluded entrance leads to the large sheltered courtyard of pebble mosaics, where guests can enjoy the peace and shade. A roof terrace is another enjoy special moments and romantic views.

There is a small elegant bar that leads to a sitting area and out to the large private courtyard filled with trees, flowers, and a giant cactus. This is where the daily breakfast buffet is served. 

This is a place with style and grace. It is the cream of the crop and has no equal on the island. A joyful experience to stay, a tough one to depart.

THE ROOMS & SUITES

There are 19 suites/apartments/standard rooms, the Penthouse Suite, and the Honeymoon Suite.
Each suite has been individually designed and stylishly decorated with custom made furnishings. All suites are air-conditioned, having modern bathrooms decorated with marble. Nine suites have Jacuzzis.

All suites have satellite TV with channels including CNN, NBC & BBC and DVD players. Direct-dial telephone, ADSL data line, radio, mini-bar, safe, hair-dryer. 24-hour room service and laundry service is available.

• Standard rooms have double or twin beds and bathroom with shower. For up to 2 people.

• One-bedroom apartments have a sitting area, double or twin bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower. For up to 4 people.

• One-bedroom suites have sitting area, queen-size or twin bedroom and 1 bathroom with jacuzzi tub. For up to 4 people.

• The Two-bedroom Apartment has 1 bathroom with shower, one bedroom with 2 twin beds put together (made up to form one large bed) and one bedroom with 2 twin beds apart. One of the bedrooms is completely separated by a door from the sitting room (private). For up to 6 people.

• The Two-bedroom Suite has 2 bathrooms (one with jacuzzi tub and one with a shower), one bedroom with a king-size bed and one bedroom with 2 twin beds put together. The bedrooms are open to the sitting room. For up to 6 people.

• The Honeymoon Suite has a king-size bed, 1 bathroom with jacuzzi, sitting room, small balcony with view to the pedestrian street/town. For up to 2 adults & 1 child.

• The Penthouse Suite has a downstairs a living room with 2 sofa-beds, upstairs a bedroom with king-size bed, 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub and one with shower).
  Private balcony off the bedroom with full - spectacular - harbour view. For up to 2 adults & 2 children.

Chania airport - 10 km, Rethymno - 59 km, Heraklion town & airport - 130 km.
Closest (small) beach - 500 m. Better beaches at 4 km.

Rates are per room, per night and include (buffet) breakfast, air conditioning/ heating and all taxes.
Additional adult in one-bedroom Apartment (up to 2 adults): 37 euros/person.
Additional adult in Suites (up to 2 adults): 58 euros/person.
Children (0-2 years) with baby cot: free.
Children (2-11 years): 50% of extra charge for adult in apartment or suite.
