Porto Veneziano Hotel: When we booked the room through you, you told us at the time that there were no rooms with a sea view, but we booked anyway. When we arrived a sea view room was available, so thank you very much for your note to the hotel requesting a sea view room "if possible"... because it was.
It is a great part of the city to stay. It was quiet enough for us to be able to go to sleep with the window open, listening to the sound of the sea. Really special.

We had an amazing time in Crete. The hotel you organised for us was great. Whilst the rooms were pretty basic we had a small balcony and gorgeous view of the old harbour. The reception staff were amazing... the most helpful of all we encountered in Greece. I found your assistance invaluable and would certainly contact you again if we get a chance to return to Crete... I wish!!!! thanks again for all your help.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The view from our balcony was wonderful and the staff were arguably the best of any hotel I have stayed at in many of the countries around the world.

Chania is a superb location with incredibly friendly and helpful people. The restaurants were terrific and my wife and I developed quite a taste for Raki which was always a lovely way to finish meals. Once again, many thanks for your help in us having a wonderful holiday.

The hotel in Chania, Porto Veneziano, was perfect. We were very pleased to be at that end of the waterfront away from all the business. The staff was lovely, the room fine. It was as if we were old friends when we returned for that last night.

We had an excellent holiday on Crete. We have visited the island once before, but we got a lot more from our trip this time (your website certainly helped me prepare for some of our exploration). My trip to Samaria was great (the hotel in Chania was just right).
I was very taken with the west and the little bit of the south of the island we saw, and am very keen to return and explore further. We even avoided any disruption on our flight home. No problem.
I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The room was not huge, but plenty big enough for me. I only stayed the one night, before leaving at 5:00 am to walk the Samaria Gorge.
The hotel put out a breakfast for me at 4:30 am which was good. The staff were friendly. The hotel is very conveniently located for Chania, being right on the waterfront.
It is also relatively quiet, being at the far end of the harbour, away from most of the noise. I would stay again, but probably only for a short period. It's not the kind of hotel for a two-week family holiday.
