OUR REVIEW

Villas with style, excellent build quality, pleasing stylish furniture and the perfect location are a rare find.
Dramatic sea views complement these luxury villas, which are on a quiet edge of the sandy, beach-lined village of Almirida. The villas opened in 2008.

SK Place villas have fine pools, jacuzzis, saunas and electronic opening gate.
Full stereo system, large flat screen TVs, DVD and satellite systems make it possible to set the mood top your choice in every moment. The background decor is relaxing, the views, sea, distant island & peninsula views sooth and comfort. Floor-to-ceiling sliding windows bring the view indoors.
All technical facilities you may require including internet broadband and WiFi are provided.
Excellent, fully equipped kitchen, generous wardrobe spaces, wood hangers, ironing equipment and clothes washing machines cover holiday practicalities.

The pool and the terrace have comfortable, shaded outdoor seating, perfect for a snooze, a long tempting read of that book, an evening exchanging tales of life or defining the way the world could and should be.

The villas are a short stroll of 2 minutes to the highly rated sandy beaches, good choice of tavernas/restaurants (you can even have great meals from local tavernas delivered), beach cafes and convivial bars.

At one of your beaches - and you will feel it is "your beach" - windsurfing, sailing and canoeing activities are on offer. Almirida's has a great beach for children which has a shallow entrance stretch (as does the nearby Kalives beach).

A convenient 30 minute drive from Chania's Venetian harbour (45 minutes from Chania airport).
In the area, the stunning views from Aptera castle ruins, the Old Town and port at Rethymno, original villages and hamlets in the mountains are within a 30-40 minute drive.

THE VILLAS

There are three, 3-bedroom villas.

Each approx. 180 m², with 3 bathrooms and 1 WC, large private pool & sea views, for up to 6 people.
Each villa is designed with a different theme, either contemporary ("Almyra"), traditional ("Ammos") or classical ("Anemos").

Ground Floor: Large open plan living area (60m²) with comfortable soft seating, open fireplace dining area for 8 people and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances including: fridge/freezer, oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave and espresso/filter coffee machine and more.
Unobstructed views of the sea and mountains through the large full height glass sliding doors to the covered terrace (22.50m²) and swimming pool area. Surrounding area 500m². Swimming pool size: 54m².
First Floor: Master bedroom (26m²) with king-size bed. Luxurious, en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, WC and washbasin. Sliding glass doors to large covered balcony with stunning sea and mountain views.
2nd Bedroom (23m²) has twin beds and large en suite shower room with WC and washbasin. Sliding glass doors to large covered balcony with superb sea and mountain views (22.70m²)
Lower Ground Floor: 3rd Bedroom (20m²) with twin beds and extensive fitted wardrobes. Sliding glass doors open onto a private courtyard and relaxation area (17m²) with access to the swimming pool terrace. Spacious, luxury Spa bathroom (14.70m²) with steam shower/ hamam, sauna and mini gym (independently accessible to all house guests). Separate WC and washbasin. Laundry area with washing machine and ironing facility.

Lower Ground Floor: 3rd Bedroom (20m²) with twin beds and extensive fitted wardrobes. Sliding glass doors open onto a private courtyard and relaxation area (27m²) with access to the swimming pool terrace. Spacious, luxury Spa bathroom (11.50m²) with steam shower/ hamam, sauna and mini gym (independently accessible to all house guests). Separate WC and washbasin. First Floor: Master bedroom(28.50m²) with king size bed. Luxurious, en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, separate shower, WC and washbasin. Sliding glass doors to large covered balcony with stunning sea and mountain views.
2nd Bedroom (21.50m²) has twin beds and large en suite shower room with WC and washbasin. Sliding glass doors to large covered balcony (22.30m²) with superb sea and mountain views.
Lower Ground Floor: 3rd Bedroom is the largest (23m²) with twin beds and extensive fitted wardrobes. Sliding glass doors open onto a private courtyard and relaxation area with access to the swimming pool terrace (30.30m²). Spacious, luxury Spa bathroom (17m²) with steam shower/hamam, sauna and mini gym (independently accessible to all house guests). Separate WC and washbasin. Laundry area with washing machine and dryer and ironing facility.

Kitchens have sea views & sliding door that opens to the deck & pool area.

Rates are per villa, per night and include air conditioning (cooling/heating) and all taxes.
Children (0-12 years) are free of charge (baby-cot provided).

MINIMUM STAY: 7 nights in summer months. In winter shorter stays are possible.
