OUR REVIEW

Spacious, private, 5 bedrooms, beautiful pool and garden surrounds and splendid hill-glancing views to the sea. Quiet and private yet close to many things including the town of Rethymno and just a little further... Chania. The historic village of Episkopi - which you can walk to in 10-15 minutes - with its ancient churches and intriguing old buildings, tavernas and local "Kafeneia".

Villa Lucia is spacious inside and out. With 5 bedrooms, extra large living area with dining section, large separate & modern, fully-equipped kitchen with kitchen dining table.
Large garden areas and the pool all enjoy the views across the attractive Episkopi village to the sea. The countryside has many trees and surroundings of the villa are alive with flowers and shrubs.

The inside is arranged with space, with colour - colourful glassware and in one place a stained-glass effect window-light.
There are two main groupings of sofas and chairs in a slightly stepped two-level ground floor living and dining hall. A fireplace adds homeliness, cosiness. A large screen TV with satellite channels, DVD and stereo, a Play station unit. There is a ground floor toilet for easy day use.

The nearest beach is a 5 minute car drive away and i is a fine stretch of sand and sea. Rethymno with its historic and romantic old town is 15 minutes by car. Many nearby scenic villages, hillsides and splendid drives to Chania and its Venetian harbour, winding along small rural village routes to the south coast and more.

For a family who want space, a big family who want to be united and together, firm friends who want the quality of a holiday with independence (there is also a wheelchair ramp into the ground floor area). This is a wonderful rich experience of which sweet and delight-filled happy-moments memories are made.

THE VILLA

Two storey villa, approx. 300 m², on 40 acres of land. 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & 1 WC.
Ground floor: Very large and spacious living room with fireplace, dining table, HiFi, 52" screen TV with satellite reception, DVD player, PlayStation. Fully equipped kitchen (4-rings ceramic cooker with oven, microwave oven, full-size fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and sandwich toaster. Guest WC.
First floor: 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, plus 1 small children's bedroom with 2 bunk beds (most suited to children up to 12 years old...but some older kids may love it!) 2 bathrooms; 1 with jacuzzi corner tub & shower with hydro-jets and one with bathtub. Large veranda with wicker furniture and balconies off some of the bedrooms.

FACILITIES

Air conditioning in all rooms except children's room, under floor heating, WiFi internet access. Bath & pool towels. House cleaning twice a week.

Outdoors: swimming pool, terraces, tables and chairs, sun loungers, grass lawn area, brick barbecue.

Parking area (shaded).

RATES 2010 (rates include our Superb, All-questions-answered Personal service)

Rates are for the whole villa (up to 10 people), per night and include air conditioning/heating and all taxes. Extra people (up to 2): plus 30 euros/person. Children 0-3 years old: free (baby-cot provided).

MINIMUM STAY: 4-6 nights, depending on season.
