OUR REVIEW

Delina Mountain Resort is located just 1km away from Anogia village, on the road towards Nida at an altitude of 910 m. Delina is extended in an area of 28 acres and combines the fine facilities and services of an elegant hotel with the authenticity of Cretan tradition and the wild natural beauty of the island.

Delina Mountain Resort consist of 13 cosy rooms, elegantly decorated that offer a delightful stay to the visitor. All rooms have fireplace, Jacuzzi, veranda with amazing view of the snowy peaks of "Psiloritis" mountain, which is the highest mountain and also a trademark of Crete. Also, the hotel offers two rooms for people with physical disabilities as well as two non-smoking rooms.

During your stay you can have a great variety of outdoor activities like Rock Climbing, Hiking-Trekking, Archery and of coursce don't miss Yakinthia, the very famous artistic events, which take place every year in July at the same great place called Fourni.

At Delina Mountain Resort, you are just 1km away from Anogia village, birthplace of the famous Greek singers Nikos Xylouris and Psarantonis, Anogia has a history that is powerful and tragic. The village has two aspects. Old Anogia is the lower part, reached after you pass the inviting square filled with Kafeneia on the right hand side (as you approach from Heraklion) and continue as the road curves left and downhill. The air is mountain-fresh, the local Raki and food genuinely good and usually made with local ingredients. If lamb is to your liking, the savoury aroma of it cooking at the tavernas in the lower part of the village, is tempting indeed. The square of Agios Georgios is a splendid exhibition of local life and a good place to stop for coffee, buy local cheese and visit the small church of the same name. Traditional Cretan music can be enjoyed at the village in the concerts which are held in the open theatre during summer, as well as in festivals the two first weeks of August. Moreover, the cultural club of Anogia organises cultural nights and attracts visitors not only from Crete but from other parts of Greece.

And of course, visiting Nida Plateau, the Ideon cave (mythology: Zeus grew up here), the observatory at the top of the Skinaka as well as the ancient settlement of Zominthos could be a day discovering myths, archaelogy and history.

Double Room
A cozy room with bedroom and sitting room with fireplace. The bedroom consists of a large double bed with an anatomical mattress and pillows. You will also find amenities such as slippers, bathrobes, shampoo, moisturizing lotion, shower gel, conditioner and bath salts for the Jacuzzi. You can also use the Mini-Bar for late night drinks or snacks while watching our Plasma TV with cable channels.

Mini Suite
A spacious room with a divider that separates the bedroom from the sitting room and fireplace. The bedroom consists of a large double bed with an anatomical mattress and pillows. You will also find amenities such as slippers, bathrobes, shampoo, moisturizing lotion, shower gel, conditioner and bath salts for the Jacuzzi. You can also use the Mini-Bar for late night drinks or snacks while watching our Plasma TV with cable channels.

Lux Suite
A spacious 2-room suite with a large bed with an anatomical mattress and pillows. Elegantly decorated while the mountain rock is in the bedroom. The sitting room has a fireplace, a leather couch and chairs, a TV and a CD Player. You will also find amenities such as slippers, bathrobes, shampoo, moisturizing lotion, shower gel, conditioner and bath salts for the Jacuzzi. You can also use the Mini-Bar for late night drinks or snacks while watching our Plasma TV with cable channels.
